Approximately 23- 24 inch rainbow colorful - groovy hippy African trading bead necklace! (Great for craft or wearing)
I used to love to go to the bead store in Rutland vermont growing up in the 1970's. My friends and I would use our babysitting money to string beads or make wire chokers. I recall Being told that African trading beads were used by the tribes as their currency & the markings told the tribe & value etc : ) super cool! Even back then at my little bead store the beads alone fetched .25-$2.00 and more a bead! These are smaller beads and the thread is worn - ready for restringing (reflected in the price ) ; however, This is a cool nice necklace and a nice slice of time too ❤️
