This dress is in gorgeous vintage condition and is such a joy producer that when my bestie walked into my summer cottage just to drop something off with me and saw it hanging on my wall waiting to be photographed & listed that she started squealed & said omg! I have to try that on! I was delighted to have an impromptu model😊 Cathy is is beautiful & was prom queen! So how perfect!
It also gave us an idea for sizing. She's 5'4 and wears about an 8 on top and more like a 6 on the bottom. I was happy to see because vintage is offen much smaller than today's sizes that fit Cathy squeaked right into the lower portion of the dress - it did not quite zip all the way- but this was great information too! Because I also got to see what an easy alteration this dress could be to go backless and add spaghetti straps to hold up the top- because the top measurements are closer to 33" than 34" (but strapless and braless a 34 girl should be fine as you don't want it to fall down ) and comfortably could fit a bustier 32 girl. Hips are right around 34" waist is 26-27"
