Recently collectors have started collecting Mexico Silver Jewelry more than ever - its popularity has soared and many regions and makers and artists have started to command higher prices and are making for such interesting searching for finds & fun researching and learning about a even the different silver mixes used in some areas…I am having trouble decerning the mark ahead of 925 on this delightful piece’s stamp. I think it is most likely the eagle mark that was used for years to trademark sterling silver - but it could also be a region mark or brand or art house? In any event - this neat neat necklace is so 70s love ❤️ modernist graphic art a bit psychedelic and looks hand pressed or molded. I polished it some but left about half of the patina - as I think it’s part of its beauty. The silver is not pitting- you can decide if you want it patina free: ) The pendant is 1.5 round with a .25 inch bale and a 18 inch, also silver, chain with an early small lobster clasp (which confirmed 70s not 60s ). It’s a great necklace and would make a fantastic addition or start of a collection or a very sweet and meaningful unique gift for a special person ❤️
