Stylish Mid Century Modern 50s Christmas Tree Pin Brooch, Post War Plastic stamped Hong Hong with Bale - really cool!
This is a neat Kitschmas Pin… and a most excellent modernist design / so much so that Monet went on to copy it in metal later on exactly just adding a star to the top … I cannot find another, although I am sure these were mass produced. Hong Kong Jewelry is noted for being well made and long lasting, my guess is, as it’s really cute and easy to pack up with one’s holiday ornaments and such that most still remain with their owners ❤️ It’s a gem!
It has a bit of wear - it’s at least 70 years old! and overall in excellent vintage condition and even has a bale on top should you decide to wear it with a ribbon around your neck, tie it to a gift or perhaps hang it on your Christmas tree or your tree of Christmas pins!! it’s a winner!
