Estate Victorian Revival Heart Lapel Pin Vintage Brooch: Prong Set AB Crystals, Ornate Gold Vermeil, Hand Soddered Open Work, High End
1950s -60s Un signed - Weiss was most known for AB crystals as Albert Weiss (who began with Coro) introduced Auro Borealis crystals to the market place … the sobering and other quality indicators are there- Weiss did; however, make piece for other high end brands as well such as D & E. If I find more I will update. It’s a beautiful pin, and It measures approximately 1 3/8” in both directions. This pin is incredibly well made and very nicely, impressively weighted.
What a beautiful gift for a loved one, sweet sixteen, a promise pin or even Mother’s Day. Brooches make excellent alternative corsages and boutonnières as well and are all the rage for men’s formal wear accessorizing!
