Theses are beauties! Approximately 2.75” They felt like a nicely Melatic painted or coated molded plastic - affording for their large size to be quite light weight for your ears (a good thing) and for the black and silvery gems to be set in nicely as well. At first I assumed 80’s by size but looking closer at the Hong Kong, South Pacific Styling, materials & the latch back closure I think they are more likely 50’s or 60’s Island influenced summertime glamour dressing of the time! 💃🏻

I purchased these in my hometown in Ogunquit Maine which has a long history with Cabaret, Hollywood & the Arts ...Betty Davis had a home here and was a life guard as a girl, Audrey Hepburn opened in our local playhouse ...& many many more stars have slept through (Ogunquit is even the town that the wife is on holiday in the 7 year itch; ), Famed painters kept studios, and piano bars and Cabarets With some pretty “elaborate” shows have gone on for years & years! It is a beautiful place by the sea! And was a wonderful place to grown up into a creative! I enjoy returning in the summers to add to my NYC fashion finds! It’s the perfect town & country mash up!

If only these earrings could speak to tell their story! But one can imagine! They are magnificently FUN!
