Florenza Victorian Lady Carved Shell Cameo Vintage Brooch with Seed Pearl Trim Ornate Goldtone Filigree Setting Pendant or Pin

This lovely shell Cameo was is Signed and made by the Costume Jewelry Makers Florenza who are known for their quality work and attention to detail. This piece came from a collection and is in excellent condition. It feature a carved pink/peachy shell of a uniquely handsome if not pretty victorian type - maybe Italian woman and is surrounded by seed pearls or faux seed pearls also in excellent condition. The setting is a Victorian / Hollywood Regency- this is a 70’s piece so it’s a mash up of styles with almost a Louis the 14th influence that this brand often seems to use : ) ( love that in a Madonna kinda way!) Anyway the settling is an ornate sort of filigree, given the loose use of the term these days; ) there is a pendant bale as well as a standard pin and safety clasp on the back.
I like that this lovely lady is not so frilly, and rather stately, that this cameo is easily a unisex lapel pin, with cameos quote in VOGUE right now and continuing upward ... that it would also look quite chic on a mans pin strip suit jacket, just like the one grand ma ma had ; ) quite dapper!
And it’s of course prom and wedding season so let’s not forget the traditional Gibson girl cameo at the throat ... so innocently seductive 🦋 it’s spring 👒 time to be flirty!
