Simply Beautiful - a bit Rustic shabby chic - in that one can feel the workmanship and age of this piece- doesn’t seem to be precious metals - brassy Metal - or jewels even - a gift of love ❤️ Not overly extravagant
The glass Cabochons are such a pretty deep rich purply red, the scrolling Filigree is large and joyful and the real shell cameo is exquisitely hand carved and serene. Even the chain is ornately Keyed. Looks Italian- maybe Florentine.
The pendant measures approximately 1.5 x 1 inches - the cameo itself approximately 1.25cm x 1 cm. The necklace is approximately 19.25 inches long.
This is a wonderful necklace that will make a truly unique and beautiful gift to any loved one.

In excellent condition With appropriate aging- these style of cameos seem to have been made in the 60s & 70s
